Ones and Young 2s

• Ones T/Th is for children who turn 1 by June 1st

• Young 2s M/W class is for children who turn 2 by December 31st

• 8:2 student-to-teacher ratio

• Pictures taken daily and shared with parents

• Participate in music and chapel weekly

• Children will have snack and lunch at school

• A main focus for this age group is separating from parents, developing independence, and learning self-direction and obedience in a secure and loving environment

• Building upon emerging vocabulary

• Learning colors and shapes

• Introduction to letters and numbers

• Strengthen fine and gross motor skills

• Special events and field trips throughout the year

• Written progress reports are completed in May
